Manna Pantry 25th Anniversary

Manna Pantry 25th Anniversary This year the Manna Pantry is celebrating its 25th anniversary of providing emergency food for the hungry in Mecosta and Osceola Counties. So that everyone can join in the celebration, The Downtown Business Association and the Pantry are having a food drive from May 2 through May 16. Boxes will be placed in the cooperating businesses to receive food that is needed for our summer supplemental program. This program provides extra lunch and breakfast food to families with school age children. It helps to replace the meals that the children would receive in school during the school year. We are looking for: Peanut butter and jelly, cereal, soup, granola bars, individual cups of pudding or fruit. Boxes can be found at: Preferred Office Machines, Lake and Lodges Realty, Fifth Third Bank, Lake Osceola Bank, Big Rapids Furniture, Chemical Bank, and Good Dog Bakery. Join us for the May 9 concert at the Pocket Park and help us celebrate, bring donations! For more information, please contact Isabel Kempton at 598-1441
